The last NASCAR Cup race at Indianapolis was not much of a race as it was a train show that saw minimal passing, no non-pit stop or restart lead changes, and Corey Heim pick up his 2nd career Cup Series win. Now, after a much needed off week to decompress from the boring show Indy put on, we head to a Short track that will hopefully pick up the action, Iowa. Down below you will find different statistics for active drivers and Next Gen races of the NASCAR Cup series here at Iowa ranging from Most Wins to Best Average Finishes by starting position in the Next Gen era. So read and enjoy these fun fact track stats!
In this post you will only find active and Next Gen stats, if you are looking for all-time stats check out my previous article All-Time Cup Track Stats: Iowa.

Active means any driver who started a race in the 2026 Cup Series season.
